Andrew Charles Eppens

Drew was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 26, 1985. He graduated from Marine City High School, class of 2003. Drew served his country as a medic in the US Army oversees in South Korea. He earned his bachelor degree from Wayne State University and worked in distribution for the US Postal Service.

Drew is survived by his father Alfred (Dianna) Eppens; mother Judith (John) Ogren; siblings Eric (Robin) Eppens and Catherine (James) Neiman; Aunts Mary (Harvey) Braun, Gail Casanova, and Bonnie (James) Willcock; niece Abigail Eppens; and nephew Henry Neiman.

Drew’s family invites everyone to a visitation on Friday August 13, 2021 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan. Drew will lie in state on Saturday August 14, 2021 from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church, located at 100 Romeo Road in Rochester. Interment will be private at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Detroit at a later date.

Drew‘s life, though tragically short, was lived with gusto. He climbed mountains, scaled rock walls, explored foreign lands, and made friends across the globe. Drew had the spirit of an adventurer. May he find peace in this his final adventure.
