Ann married her husband, Gino, on August 23, 1985, and they were together until his passing on November 3, 2023. Their years together were filled with devotion and shared adventure, including traveling the world and spending summers in their camper side by side.
A lover of the outdoors, Ann found happiness under open skies camping and, when she was younger, horseback riding with her family. Throughout her life she made room for creativity and beauty: painting watercolors, arranging flowers, and decorating cakes.
Nothing mattered more to Ann than the people she loved. She cherished her grandchildren deeply and always made time for them. Ann loved life and she never wasted a moment; when asked to describe her, her family simply stated, "She was a doer."
Ann also gave her time to others with quiet dedication. She volunteered in hospice care and was honored as Volunteer of the Year, a reflection of the compassion she brought to those who needed it most. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels and tended gardens at Meadowbrook Hall, enriching her community for current and future generations.
Ann Perini will be remembered with gratitude and affection for her love of family and her generous service to everyone around her.
Ann was beloved by her children: Rebecca Watts and her children Jessie & Sydney Berger; Stephen Watts; Wendi Werkman; Bill Watts; Cathy & Bill Korreck; John & Joan Perini; Jenelle & Jason Moul and their children Mackenzie & Alexis Moul; Andrea & Will Koehler and their children Evelyn, Liam, Alexander, Maxwell Koehler; Mike & Brenna Perini and their children Casey & Baker Perini; Dan & Lorrie Perini and their children Brandon, Jenna, & Austin Perini; Dan Jr. Perini and his children Charlotte, Landon, Louis, and Lennon Perini; and Robert & Gayle Perini and their child Gilina Perini. Granny Annie will miss not holding the new baby.
She joins in heaven her parents Jessica and Frank Edmondson and brother Springer Mayday.
