

He was born in Detroit, Michigan, to Marlene Jacobson and the late John Jacobson. Anthony was a beloved father, partner, son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. His love for his family was at the center of his life, and he loved his children more than anything in this world.
A devoted Catholic, Anthony had a deep and abiding love for Jesus Christ and sought to share his faith and hope with others. He founded the Light in the Darkness Ministry - aiding the homeless. He was also a former Knight of Columbus.
Anthony was an accomplished truck driver and was talented in data processing. He took great pride in his work and had a strong drive to better himself. He loved fitness and working out, but above all, he cherished the time he spent with his children and the people he loved.
Anthony will be deeply missed by his beloved children, Melody, Journey, and Gia; his mother, Marlene (Gerry) Jacobson; his brother, Josh (Livi) Jacobson; his cherished partner, Andrea Gerard; his grandparents, Tom and Danya Wearn; his beloved aunts and uncles, Terence (Anna) Mekoski, Sandy (Brian) Raymond, and Carrie (Gary) Karpinski; his dearest cousins, Meghan, Molly, Matt, Sabrina, and Sammy; and his extended family, Mary and Bob Tadeusiak, Aunt Rose Barger, and his stepmother, Cheryl Jacobson. He will also be deeply missed by the many other family members and dear friends who were blessed to know him.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Jacobson, and his grandparents, Henry and Jean Mekoski.
May Anthony rest peacefully in the loving presence of Jesus, whom he loved so dearly. May his memory be a blessing, and may his family find comfort in the promise of eternal life.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 2:00–8:00 p.m., with a 3:00 p.m. Rosary, at Pixley Funeral Home 322 W. University Drive Rochester, MI 48307.
