Beloved husband of Joyce for 62 years; loving father of Kay (Paul) Kokesh, Kathy (Michael) Fetcenko, and Michele (Eric) Decker; dear grandfather of Melissa (Joseph) Lagodzinski, Colin Decker, M. Joseph (Danielle) Fetcenko, William (Kathleen) Fetcenko, Alexander Kokesh, and Palmer Kokesh; great-grandfather of Kaylynne, Joey, Delilah, Cayden, and Sheri; and caring uncle to many nieces and nephews. Arnold was predeceased by his parents Lloyd and Theresa (Kirchoff) Eagling; and siblings Elroy and Kenneth Eagling, and Mildred Hiske.
Arnold was born in Wellington Township, Michigan on March 23, 1935. He graduated from Alpena High School and married Joyce Sinn on November 24, 1956, in Bay City, Michigan. He retired from General Motors after over 30 years of service where he spent the majority of his career as a superintendent at the Fisher Body Fleetwood Plant. He then worked for TRW and retired after ten years of service.
Arnold was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Rochester since 1992. He loved spending time with his family, and traveling with his wife and friends. He also enjoyed tending to his meticulously groomed yard.
Arnold’s family will receive all for a visitation on Friday January 25th, 2019 from 3 p.m. until 8pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester, Michigan. Arnold will lie instate on Saturday January 26th, 2019 from 9am until the time of funeral service at 10am at St. John Lutheran Church, located at 1011 W. University Drive in Rochester Michigan. Interment will be at Van Hoosen Jones – Stoney Creek Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
