Arthur Charles Reaume

Arthur built a working life rooted in dedication and steady effort, spending many years in sales for health insurance and also working in sales for Gordon Food Serice and Sysco. In every role, he brought a personable presence and an easy ability to connect with others which made him memorable to colleagues, clients, and friends alike.

The center of Arthur’s life was his family. He shared his life with his wife, Lou Anne Reaume, and took deep pride in his children: Collyn (Erin) Reaume, Jordan Reaume, and Alexis (Collin Ball) Reaume. He was a devoted grandfather to Ella Reaume and Quinn Reaume, and his love for them was a lasting joy. He is also survived by his siblings Gilbert (The Late Gerry) Reaume, Beverly Reaume, Denise (The Late Alan) Magiera, and Maryann (Arnold) Van Tiem, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, The Late Joanne (Lee) Howard.

Arthur’s interests reflected both discipline and delight. He enjoyed golf, and he found special meaning in supporting his children and grandchildren in all their endeavors, always proud of who they were and what they pursued. He also dedicated himself to martial arts, earning the distinction of a 4th degree Black Belt, an achievement that spoke to his perseverance and discipline.

A strong sense of gratitude to our nation's veterans guided Arthur to be involved with Salute Our Warriors and Homes For Heroic Veterans. He also served as a Republican vote counter and ran for Republican Delegate for Sterling Heights, offering his time and energy in support of civic life.

Arthur will be remembered for the warmth he brought into a room, for the way he kept connections strong. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished, the community he served, and the many lives touched by his steady support and generous spirit.
