Barbara May Spencer

SPENCER, Barbara May, age 86 of Rochester Hills, died October 11, 2017. Barbara was born on August 29, 1931 in Detroit, daughter of the late James and Eva (Krewson) Dexter. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen (Don, Sr) Rouse, grandchildren James (Elizabeth) Rouse, Barbara Hadden, and Don (Pam) Rouse, Jr. , 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Betty Robinson and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband James in 1995, and a brother Wesley Dexter. Barbara had been employed with National Twist Drill, Business Products of Troy, Electrowire and H.R. Block of Rochester. She enjoyed bowling, Crossword Puzzles and shopping. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday, October 13, 2017 at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Rev. Daniel Hutchinson officiating. Interment at Christian Memorial Cemetery.
