Barbara Lee Sweda

Barbara Lee Sweda, age 86, of Auburn Hills, Michigan, passed away on April 21, 2020. She was born in Connellsville, Pennsylvania on June 13, 1933. Barbara graduated from Wayne State University, receiving her Masters in Psychiatric Mental Health. She was married to Adam Daniel Sweda on September 26, 1957. Barbara worked in nursing administration at William Beaumont Hospital. She always had a true passion for volunteering in health care and Neighborhood Christian Teaching, she was a board member with AARP in Tennessee where her and Adam retired. Barbara is survived by her husband, Adam Sweda; her children, Desiree Streeter, Resse (Gary) Wentzloff, and Scott (Crystal) Sweda; her grandson, Geoffrey (Ronda) Gibor and great grandson, Jordan; her grandson, Adam (Cassey) Sweda, and granddaughter Alexis Sweda, and great grandchildren, Lana and Mila; and her grandchildren, Jason (Vanessa) Wentzloff , Joel (Ashley) Wentzloff, Jack (Kaitlyn) Wentzloff, Heather Lee (Joshua Penner) Wentzloff, James (Zahra) Wentzloff, and Hailey Wentzloff. Burial will be on Friday, April 24, 2020 at 1 PM at Guardian Angel Cemetery.
