Benjamin James Kibler

KIBLER, BENJAMIN J., 76 of Rochester Hills, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family and friends on July 11, 2015. Ben was born on February 8, 1939 to Cecil and Betty Kibler of Barnesboro, PA. Ben was raised in Hazel Park, MI and graduated from Hazel Park High School in 1957. He served in the armed forces, married his life-long love and raised his family in Troy, MI. He spent his career as a computer systems analyst for the Internal Revenue Service. He was an avid reader, contributor to the Old-Time Radio community and sports enthusiast. Ben relished a competitive round of golf and his "encouragement" will be missed on the 2nd hole of the Brookwood Golf Course. He is survived by his wife, Rosalie Chartrand Kibler; children Bethene, Jeffrey and Julie; grandchildren Nicholas, Autumn, Calvin, Alex, Austin and brother Mike Kibler. Memorial Service Saturday, 12:00 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home 322 W. University Dr., Rochester; memorial gathering 10 a.m. until time of service.
