He was born in Rochester, Michigan on July 11, 1932. Benjamin graduated from Rochester High School. He went on to have a career as an electrician in local #58 for 65 years. He worked on the Alaskan Pipeline and many other big projects.
Benjamin was a life-long resident of Rochester. He was a very kind man who was loved by many. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for over 65 years and had a passion for baseball, which he played his whole life. He also coached and managed several baseball teams and had a love for hockey!
He is survived by his children Douglas Traxler of Virginia and Penny (Bill) White of Lapeer; his grandchildren Heidi, Anthony, Katie, and Krystal; his great grandchildren Jacob, Gabriella, Michael, Olivia, and Matthew; and his longtime partner Liz Lyon.
