She will always be remembered by her loving family, countless nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends as a fun loving person. Always the life of the party! Her kindness and hospitality was evident with an open door and a pot of coffee. Her love for people was the perfect asset for international button promotions that she and Marvin created and traveled all over the states to sell their products. After living and working in Las Vegas, Betty Jo retired and lived with each of her children; in California, Arizona, and Michigan. She loved musicals, old movies, and music, especially country and the oldies she grew up with. Her favorite color was black and she wore it daily, along with anything blingy!
Betty Jo is survived by three of her children, Paulette Wightman and son-in-law Roger, Shonna Royster(Perkins), and Matthew Royster and daughter-in-law Heather, daughter-in-law Pam Royster, four stepdaughters, and her sisters, Carolyn, Marlene, Valerie, Joanie, and Shelly. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, all will miss her dearly. Along with her lifelong dear friends.
Those preceding Betty Jo are her parents, Allan Arnold and Florence Fliescher, first husband Carl Royster and second husband Marvin Bennett, her sons, Carl “Nate” Royster and
Baby Marc Royster and two of her brothers, Craig and Gary Arnold.
A memorial celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
