Betty Marie Wilber, of Rochester, Michigan, was born on May 2, 1931 in Oakland Township, MI and passed away Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Pomeroy Living in Lake Orion, MI. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Howard C. Wilber and Veva S. (McClure), her brother, Orlan, and nephew, Mark.
Betty is survived by her brother, Marvin (Gertrude), sister-in-law, Joan, one niece, Cheryl McCurdy (Wilber) and four nephews, David, Donald (Anne), Bruce (Sandra), and Michael (Dawn). She is also survived by 7 grand nieces and nephews and one great-grand niece.
Betty attended Snell grade school and graduated from Rochester High School, class of 1949. She attended the Pontiac Business School and worked at Capital Savings and Loan in Pontiac for several years. She served as Deputy Treasurer for the city of Rochester for 18 years.
She started attending the Paint Creek Church in the early 50's and was a pillar of the church involved in many activities and various positions. She was honored as their Person of Faith. She was also active in the Beta Sigma Phi service organization.
Interment will be private at Mount Vernon Cemetery in the summer.
