Charles A. Keith

Charles “Chuck” Keith passed away on December 9th, 2018 at the age of 74. Charles was born in Chicago in 1944 to his parents Carl and Gertrude Keith and married his beloved wife Janice on January 3rd, 1970. Charles’ life accomplishments, in addition to be a great father, husband, and role model include: he graduated from Evanston High School and also earned his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio; he trained in the Peace Corps in his 20s; and spent most of his career working for Adcole Company doing machinery electrical maintenance work, primarily in the automotive sector. Charles was an avid bridge and card game player and was also a world traveler having spent many times traveling the world including Europe, Asia, and across the USA with his wife, family and friends over his lifetime. One of his greatest accomplishments in his later years was the many hours he spent time volunteering across numerous organizations, including Gleaner’s Food Bank. On May 15, 2014 Charles was formally recognized for his volunteer services at Gleaner’s and received the Distinguished Champions Award which was created by Molina Healthcare.

Charles is survived by his adored wife Janice Keith; his sons Todd and Scott Keith; and many loving cousins. He is predeceased by his parents and his brother Kenneth Keith.

Visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home located at 322 W. University Dr. Rochester, MI 48307 on Saturday December 15th from 10 AM till 12 PM.
