Goodbye old soldier and comrade. As a fellow veteran, I couldn’t help but notice your CIB (Combat Infantry Badge), and your Purple Heart. Thank you for your sacrifice for America, Sir. You truly were “The Greatest Generation.”


Claude was a huge part of my life growing up. His first wife and our Mom were best friends with their friend Gladys. The girls met at work during WWII and that friendship extended long after and uniting 3 families. He always had a smile and silly jokes and was interested in what all of us were doing. He was a blessing and will be missed.

My heart goes out to the family. Claude was an amazing person. I loved our talks we would have and loved always helping him with his TV. 
May your heart find peace in the comfort knowing how loved he was. 

Our sympathy to Vickie, Marsha, Michael and family on our sweet Claude's passing.  He was truly " the salt of the earth" and everyone's friend.  Kind, positive, upbeat, witty and fun!  We loved him and will miss him.
