Craig Joseph Cotter

Craig Joseph Cotter, 75, of Rochester Hills, passed away on Sunday November 12, 2017. He was the loving husband of Carole Cotter for 50 years; dear father of Catherine (Brian) Bilkovic and Deborah (Harry) Rhodes; caring grandfather of Ava, Mason, and Austin; and brother of Jay Cotter.

Craig was born the son of Daniel and Evelyn (Kruse) Cotter in Battle Creek on December 13, 1941. He graduated from Redford High School and later from Ferris State University. Craig married Carole Louzon on February 12, 1967. He was drafted into the Army and left two weeks later for Vietnam.

Craig was extremely patriotic and proud to have served his country. He was an avid boater and fisherman, loved woodworking, and spending time with his friends. He enjoyed cooking with Carole and barbequing all year round. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

Craig’s family will welcome friends for a memorial gathering on Thursday November 16th, 2017 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday November 17th, from 10:30 a.m. until the time of memorial service at 11 a.m. at Pixley Funeral Home located at 322 West University Drive in downtown Rochester.
