Dear son of the late Stuart and Dixie Lee Pickering; father of David "DJ' Pickering, Jr.; brother of Rachelle (Scott) Hubbard and Mark (Stephanie) Pickering; the mother of DJ, Christine Pickering; and also by many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
David was born in Pontiac, Michigan on April 28, 1960. He survived a near fatal car accident. He married Christine in 1986 and DJ was born in 1987. David graduated from ITT Tech with a degree in Information Technology. He was an avid antique firearm, antique military paraphernalia, and coin collector.
The family will greet guests from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00 am on Friday, June 16, 2023 at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Rd., Rochester, Michigan. Interment following at Christian Memorial Gardens, Rochester Hills, Michigan.
