My heart is heavy.  My nose stings. You are one of those people one couldn't help but look forward to seeing again. You were already so very missed. Amazing summer days were a lifetime of value and love and you Uncle Dave are a man of quality that the earth was very blessed to embrace. You are someone I could always respect and learn from. A family man, a loyal man, a good father and husband... I could not be more proud to have been the niece of such an amazing, successful, dedicated, and faithful human being. XO Whether it's selfish or not, I wish we had more time together. :'(

I had the pleasure of knowing Dave for many years, worked next door to Capital Optical in Livonia. I enjoyed visiting with Dave on break. He was an outstanding man, who loved life and lived it to the fullest. Dave would visit at the print shop and would always sincerely ask about my husband and kids. We would talk about the items Carol & he would make and how his children and grandchildren were doing. I'm sorry for your loss, Dave will be greatly missed. I hope happy memories bring his family peace and help them celebrate his life.
