Delbert is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Chelsa Diane (Kirby) Foster. His greatest achievements, his 3 children: Patty Swauger (Jeff), Scott Foster (Rhonda) and Amy Schodowski (John). His 8 grandchildren, who he was so proud of: Morgan, Hayden, Kyle, Wade, Corinn, Keenan, Kayla and Cody and 4 great grandchildren, who brought out the twinkle in his eye: Nevaeh, Landen, Lailah and Belle.
Delbert had 3 siblings: Jackie Rogers, Delmar Foster (twin) and Paul Foster, who were his best friends and partners in crime while growing up, and niece and nephews.
Proceeding in death are his loving parents, William Bernard and Ethel Lauria Foster.
Delbert loved our Lord and Savior and was faithful in his walk of service in volunteering at Rochester Church of Christ and when they retired and moved to Tennessee, he was diligent in his walk at the Church of Christ in the Glade in Fairfield Glade, TN. His most recent walk of service was with Metro Church of Christ in Sterling Heights, MI.
Delbert was a family man, a man of integrity and who loved his family unconditionally. Delbert enjoyed reading books and playing games with his family and friends. Delbert was passionate about his love for Chelsa Diane and extended that same love to his children. He retired from the GM Hydra-Matic Powertrain Plant with 37 years as an Electrician.
