Delphine Elaine Carinci, 87, passed away on July 3, 2026. Born February 12, 1939, Delphine’s life was rooted in the quiet strength of her faith and devotion to her family. Delphine enjoyed family gatherings and celebrating birthdays and holidays with as much of the family as possible. She also enjoyed cooking and family visits. She enjoyed football and was a dedicated Lions fan.
Delphine was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Carinci; her son, Michael Sanders; and her siblings, Eugene Gruszczynski, Ronald Peare, and Elaine Folino.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Sanders (Denise) and Robert Sanders; and her daughter-in-law, Harmony Sanders. Delphine also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jody, Katelyn, Stacey, Jill, Samantha, and Daniel, as well as her great-grandchildren, Bridget, Luke, Joey, Carter, Cooper, Max, Johannah, Kyler, and Sienna.
Visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, on July 8, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm.
A Mass will be held at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Avenue, Rochester, Michigan 48307, on July 9, 2026, at 11:00 am.
