Dolores June Owen

In her early years, Dolores graduated from Denby High School and went on to attend Wayne State University. During her time at the university, she worked diligently as the Assistant to the VP of Accounting. Her career expanded as she became the bookkeeper for various family businesses, including her husband's construction business.

Dolores was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ramon "Ray" Owen, and her parents, Carl Danielson and Lillian Irene (nee Somers) Danielson. She leaves behind her cherished son, Mark Owen, and daughter, Susan Owen. Dolores is also survived by her brother, Neil Danielson, as well as her nieces, Lori Rafferty, Kim LeVasseur, and Aline Danielson, and nephews, Jeff Danielson and Karl Danielson.

A devoted homemaker, Dolores was the backbone of her family. She found joy in cooking, canning, and reading, activities that brought warmth and comfort to those around her. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.

A visitation will be held on February 8, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Pixley Funeral Home, located at 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan, 48307, with a funeral service following at 2:00 pm.
