Don Stafford

Donald Stafford, age 82, of Rochester Hills, passed away June 24, 2018. He was born in Filion, Michigan on December 3, 1935. Donald was a graduate from Denby High School. He married Julie Stafford on June 20, 1997. Donald had a career in IT and Sales. During his life, Donald was a member of the Mason’s and was a veteran of the Armed Forces. Some of his passions in life included; golf and baseball (especially the Detroit Tigers). Donald is survived by his wife, Julie Stafford; his children, Sheryl (Larry) Knowles and Robert (Jody) Stafford; his step children, Dean (Phyllis) Peirce, Bryan (Imelda) Peirce, and Scott Peirce; his grandchildren, Danny Stafford, Jason Stafford, and Kyle Stafford; his step grandchildren, Tom Dean Peirce, Krysta Peirce, and Addison Peirce; and his sister, Margaret (Louis) Derwa. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Stafford. A Memorial Gathering will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 12 PM (Noon) - 2 PM, with a Memorial Service beginning at 2 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Season’s Hospice in Donald’s memory.
