Oh,  Marji. Just saw Don's obituary.  I am so sorry for your loss.  You were always together and I can't imagine how empty your arms feel now.  Sending prayers and hugs. 

My mom has been friends with Don and Marji her entire life. I remember them coming over for dinner or us going to their house when I was young...Don always made sure to give me attention, play games with me and watch movies. I grew up without a father and Don would take the time to take me out to dinner or to different events around town. He was hilarious and one of the best story tellers I've ever met. Don left a major positive impact on my life and he was living proof that loving, caring and thoughtful people still exist on this earth. He will be greatly missed by all.

Love you Don, rest well...you will never be forgotten.

So very sad to hear of Don’s passing. He was a kind and fun-loving force to everyone in his presence. While we are presently in quarantine, know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most somber time.

Dear Marji...It was such a pleasure to have Don as my friend all these years that it's impossible to believe that he is gone. We shared many childhood memories {we were like brothers} and even when our lives took different paths we could still catch up with each other and hardly miss a beat. A mutual love of golf made it possible to enjoy additional time with my old friend and a golf vacation to Ireland with him is a highlight of my life. Rest in peace my old friend, you will never be forgotten.

Dear Marji, Lilah, and family,
I can remember meeting you and Don in 1979 at MORC.  Hard to believe we have stayed such good friends all these years.  Don was an absolute amazing man.  He was kind, thoughtful and considerate.  He always made me laugh with his colorful stories.  I remember all our dinners, summer BBQs, holiday gatherings and other social events!  Marji, the wonderful memories of Don will never fade with time and I was fortunate to have Don as a treasured friend.  Don was a fighter right up to the end.  May he rest in peace until we see him again one day.  All my love and comfort to you and Lilah and other family members.

Dear Marji, I was so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I have such fond memories of Don, especially on the golf course! We had so much fun chasing that little white ball around. Don was a wonderful friend and a dedicated coworker.  Always willing and happy to help out with any task. The world was definitely a better place with him in it. He will be missed. 

Dear Marji,
I know that Don is the love of your life! To think that I have known Don and you since the late 1970's. It is so difficult to think that Don will no longer be with us now. We have such wonderful memories of going out to eat, going to hear the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and I even remember one round of golf that the three of us played. Of course Don was the golfer, not you or me! :-) He had a life well lived. He had Lilah as a granddaughter. I know that she brought so much love into your lives. I can't even begin to capture so many years of wonderful memories and fun times that Doug and I have shared with Don. Golfing, eating out (always a salad, Marji!), playing Old Shenandoah on the harmonica, belonging to the Muskrat Club, MORC, Inc. discussions, meeting at Lipuma's for the Rochester Holiday parade with flask in hand, Laniappe (Lip Lock according to Donny).  He brought us joy and laughter for so many years, and we will miss him always.  Sending loving and healing wishes to Marji, Lilah, and other family members.
