Donald Earl Maxwell of Rochester Hills, Michigan passed away on January 16, 2022 at the age of 85. He was born in Baxter, Tennessee on October 24, 1936. He married his beloved wife June Evelyn Shaw on June 28, 1958. Donald had a career as a mechanic for the city of Rochester. He had a passion for his family, deer hunting, snowmobiling, and spending time at the cottage in Lewiston that he built. He is survived by his wife June Maxwell; children Ronald Maxwell and William Maxwell; grandchildren Joshua Miller, Alicia (Ryan) Stewart, and Amber (Wesley) Kandt; siblings Nelson (Doris) Maxwell and Carl (Judy) Maxwell. He is predeceased by his siblings Robert Maxwell, Doris Hutchinson and Carolyn Kluz.
A visitation for Donald will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, followed by a funeral at 12:00 PM.
