Dorothy Mowry

Dorothy “Dottie” May Mowry of Rochester Hills passed away on Saturday January 3, 2015. Dorothy was the head volunteer for the MidMichigan Medical Center in Gladwin MI. She was very active in her church, Gladwin Cornerstone Baptist Church of Gladwin, MI. She enjoyed working on crafts with those at the hospital and nursing home and reading. She was the loving wife of Lawrence “Larry” E. Mowry, they were married for over 65 years. Dear mother of Daniel E. (Diane) Mowry, Pamela S. Mowry, Barbara A. (Nick) Mowry-Risou, Donald J. (Ruth) Mowry, Sally J. (Clyde) Anderson, and L. Michael (Alyssa) Mowry. Dearest Grandmother of Heather Nolte, Heidi Watson, Lesley Robinson, Lauren Anderson, Peter Mowry, Kelly Anderson, Chadd Mowry, Kirsten Mowry, Riley Mowry, Mackenzie Mowry, and Kaeley Mowry. Great-grandmother of Jamie Wolfe, Tyler Luopa, Zachery Wolfe, Kaitlyn Nolte, Trevor Wolfe, AJ Wolfe, James Robinson, Charlotte Anderson, Henry Robinson, Olive Mowry, and Genevieve Anderson. She is also survived by her twin sister Doris Greene and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please send memorial donations in her name to MidMichigan Health Center, 515 Quarter Street Gladwin, MI 48624. A memorial service will take place on Saturday January 10th, 2015 at First Baptis Church of Rochesterm 6377 Orion Rd., Rochester, MI 48306 at 1:30pm
