Carol, Jean and I are so sorry for your loss, we have been praying for you and Doug every week, It is with tear filled eyes that I write this to you as I myself feel a deep loss, Doug was one reason I decided to go into Law Enforcement, I have found memories working with him and my father while he was an officer with the RochesterPolice Department and I smile when I think back on things that we went thru during that time period, I also remember the camping trips our famlies took together. Jean and I know that you two will be reunited in Heaven and live together forever, for now he has finished his last shift and reported to Heaven One for his last assignment. Let it be known that Doug is patrolling the streets above and watching over his loved ones below. R.I.P. Brother.

Carol, I'm searching for the right words to say and with tears in my eyes all I can come up with is how very, very sorry I am for your loss. The love you two shared was never more apparent than in the way you so lovingly cared for Doug. I know you have faith and that you know that you'll be together again. Hold onto that. I pray God keeps you close during these trying times. I feel blessed to have known Doug and to know you. God bless.
