Earl William Hudak

Earl W. Hudak passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the age of 97. He was born on August 21, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Edward & Anna Hudak.

Earl grew up in Detroit and graduated from the University of Detroit High School in 1947. He then attended Wayne State University for two years and received some computer training.

Earl married Martha (Marty) Snauko on September 3, 1949 in Lansing, Michigan. He was then drafted into the US Army and served from February 1952 to February 1954 in Heidelberg, Germany as a computer analyst. After the Army he was hired by Ford Motor Company as a computer programmer. He retired from Ford in 1986.

Earls favorite pastime was running and in later years walking with his beloved wife Marty. They loved travelling and spending time with their family.

Earl was married to Marty until her death on June 2, 2023 after 73 years of marriage. He is survived by their four children: William (Kathy), Susan (Mac Compton), Robert (Ann) and Charles (Judi), along with 9 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
