Edward R. Davert

Edward Roy Davert, 89, resident of Rochester, Michigan since 1956, passed away on Monday March 21, 2016. He was born in Hamtramck, Michigan on October 4, 1926. Edward was an Army Veteran of WWII and retired from Consumers Energy in 1993 after 40 years of service.

He was married to the late June for over 49 years. Edward and June were blessed with five children; Sandra (Rev. James) Couser, Kirk (Janet) Davert, Janet (John) Ovcjak, Mark Davert, Brian (Mary) Davert, six grandchildren; Matthew (Katie), Rebecca, Aron, Bre’ann, Madeline, and three great grandchildren. Edward was predeceased by his grandson Jason.

For the past 17 years Ed made his home at Bellbrook in Rochester Hills, and his family is most grateful to staff for their support and caring love.

Visitation will be held on Monday March, 28, 2016 from 2-8pm at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr. Rochester, MI 48307. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday March 29, 2016 at 11am at St. John Lutheran Church 1011 W. University Dr. Memorial donations suggested to St. John Lutheran Church.
