Elizabeth Mary Sanders (Vega) of Clarkston, Michigan passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 1, 2019 at the age of 61. She was born in Pontiac, Michigan to her loving parents Frank and Rosa Vega. She married the love of her life Dante Sanders on October 13, 1992. She worked at the GM Lake Orion Plant as an assembler and was very proud to be one of the first women on the line at the Pontiac Central Foundry where she worked with her father. She had many hobbies including macramé, crochet, sewing, gardening and crafting. She enjoyed traveling but also being at home spending time with her husband and nieces, Selena and Bianca. She was known for her baking skills, especially her apple pie. She could be seen every year at the Woodward Dream Cruise with Dante driving their ’66 Impala. She was a lover of animals especially her beloved Blackie, Simone, Buster and DJ.
She is survived by her husband Dante; father Frank Vega ; siblings Angelina (Richard) Cummins, Julie (Stephen) Bundra, Norma (Dennis) Jones, Linda (Paul) Tribble, and John Vega; and many adored nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother Rosa.
Family will receive guests on Saturday April 6, 2019 from 10 am until the time of service at 12 noon at Pixley Funeral Home located at 322 W. University Dr. Rochester, MI 48307. Rev.
