Erich was a proud graduate of Lawrence Technological University, and worked at the university as adjunct faculty. He dedicated much of his career as an engineer at General Motors, bringing his passion for innovation and mechanics to life.
In his younger years, Erich was a rodeo enthusiast, even organized the first-ever rodeo at the Armada Fair. His love for adventure extended to the water and the road - he was an avid boater and a devoted member of the Corvette Club, enjoying rebuild projects on classic Corvettes. Beyond his personal interests, Erich was committed to his community and was actively involved with the Addison Township Board.
Above all, Erich cherished his family. He married the love of his life, Fay, on March 30, 1974, and together they built a life filled with love and shared passions. He is survived by his wife, Fay, and his children, Erich Senft (Carolyn Hojnowski) and Kristina Senft. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Folger, who passed away at the age of two.
