The Boat My Sweetie is on the boat On the river heading for heaven The angels are guiding the boat She is smiling and waving at me I am smiling and waving at her Her pain is almost all gone And she is ready for her new life I could not call the boat back To put her back in the pain she endured Wait! I see angels cheering Fran’s journey has ended She steps of the boat in to Jesus loving arms Her pain and troubles are over And Fran is in God’s Kingdom for eternity It may be weeks to years but someday I will be on that boat And she will be on the shore smiling and waving again Ready to hold me and take me to where we will be with Jesus and each other Forever -James Barrett

Fran was a loving and thoughtful person. She cared about others and was always willing to help. My husband and I attended Meadowbrook Theater with she and Jim for many years. I will miss her.
