Dr. Nahabedian was a great guy and good friend.  I worked at the FYE on Woodward in Berkley and one day Fred came in looking for a song.  The song was out of print but because I instantly liked him I said I have it in my own collection, I'll make him a copy! Over the next several years whenever he walked in looking for a song or artist, mostly from the 1960's I'd tell him no problem and sometimes create a album of the artist just for him.  Tony Orlando.  Petula Clark.  Mary Hopkins.  The Neon Philharmonic.  To name a few.  He was often blown away and spurred on to find other records he had loved but forgot.  He loved music all his life.  I was glad to share what I had and knew with him.  I hope it brought him joy.

Der Fred, Whatever heavenly Dimension you are in at this point in Earth Time, I want you to know that you are still very much missed and loved. Your name and our Int'l Supper Club memories are brought up now and then as delightful reminiscing. May the Holy Spirit Bless you and your current soulful, spiritual life. I, and we, love you forever.

Members of the International Institute of Detroit MI International Supper Club really miss Fred. We think and talk about him often and continue to wish he was still with us. He was beloved by so many. I wish I could locate the International Supper Club's photo album that he had.  His photos were so precious.


Dear Fred, I remember you well, from the ISC. Always brought interesting foods  to our  picnics .  Best  smile and always so happy, never  complaining. I managed to talk him into a cup of coffee  with me.  Such a gentleman. Such a privilege to have known you.

I knew Fred because of the International Super Club. We were golfing buddies and took several trips to South Carolina to play golf. Even though I. Left Michigan in 1988 we kept in contact. I will miss Fred he was my friend.  My sympathy and love to his family for his loss.  Nick Cigan 

Dr. Fred was the greatest.  We had SO MUCH fun when we went to the ISC activities.  You really knew your cars and music.  Alot of fun was had by all.    We miss you Fred.

Going back in time, I have some fond memories of the Detroit-based International Supper Club (ISC).  One memory I have is that of Dr. Fred.   He was always a welcome Supper Clubber at all of our functions.  Fred had a remarkable ability to know everything there was to know about the music that was playing, i.e. a song’s title, who sang it and what year it came out.  Dr. Fred was an excellent Dentist which is something I can testify to.  Most importantly though, Fred was a kind, caring, and gentle soul who will be missed.  Thanks for the fond memories, Dr. Fred.

I have known him through the International Supper Club when I lived in Detroit area as well as my dentist for a while. I lost in touch with him after moving to live in California. My fond memory is his love for the first generation Camaro cars. I wonder if any of Camaros he collected was restored? I hope he did, but it's ok if he did not. One life time is not enough to accomplish everything. I am not a religious person, but I do believe the spirit lives forever to experience many life times through the duration of our universe. Hoping that he will find another challenge and fulfilment in his next life time. Good luck, Fred. 

Fred has been a close friend from our International Supper Club Days. Before the COVID19 pandemic we used to meet rather regularly at the American Polish Cultural Center in Troy MI. I don't know if anyone can help with this, but Fred had in his possession a photograph album of past ISC events going back to at least 1966. Whenever Fred could, he would bring the album to our Dinners and over time I made paper copies of his photographs. I had asked Fred to please remember me, if he thinks he will be passing over before I do (I'm 78), and make arrangement to take possession of his (our) ISC photos. Went to Kindergarden with Fred, Have kept in contact all these years.  Had lunch with him when we went to Michigan each time.
Just talked to him awhile back.   Was just in Michigan last week and tried to call but could not reach him.
