Frederick J. Quinn Jr.

Fred was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on November 28, 1930. His parents were Frederick Quinn and Marion Blanche Leighton. Fred entered the Army at the age of 19 after he graduated from high school and served in the Korean War. After being discharged from the service Fred attended Montana State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies. In 1956 Fred went to work for the Ford Motor Company as an engineer.

In his younger days, Fred had a passion for boating, particularly racing boats.

Fred married Linda Ann Balhorn in January of 2019.

Fred was also a proud member of the Korean War Veteran’s Association.

There will be a viewing at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI on Thursday June 1, 2023 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday June 2, 2023 at St. John Lutheran Church and School, located at 1011 W. University Drive, Rochester, MI. There will be a viewing at 10:00 am at the church and the funeral will start at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be on Wednesday January 7, 2023 at 12:30 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
