PARKIN, George Henry, Jr., age 70, of Shelby Township, died Thursday, November 5, 2015. George was born on January 21, 1945 in Rochester, son of the late George and Dorothy (Burrage) Parkin. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. George is survived by his wife Lois, children Richard (Angela), Sandra (Aaron), Kimberly (George), Andrew, Beverly, Lorrie, Stacy (Ty), Daniel, and JoAnn (Michael). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, his sister Kathy (Dave) and a brother, David (Paula). Funeral service will be held Sunday, November 8, 2015, 6 p.m. at the Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester, Rev. Donald Quigley officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 pm to 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
