My parents were very good friends with George and Barbara Woodget. I only remember meeting them once, when they visited our church and shared their testimony of serving as missionaries . I immediately understood why my parents speak so highly of them. They were kind and compassionate people who shared the love of God with the world.

May God comfort the hearts of their beautiful children and give them peace, in Jesus name.

Candice is my friend from college. Sometimes we would go to her home for a weekend and both of her parents were so sweet to me! I loved the way they would smile and be so excited to see, not only Candice, but me also!! They would make a ton of good food for us broke kids and tell jokes! Mr. & Mrs. Woodget were like my second set of parents because they always told me “what’s up”, right along with their daughter! They gave me my first Bible with my name on it! They didn’t know that I would come to know the Lord that they loved so and credit them with leading me to Him! I know that when they met their Savior they heard the words, “well done good and faithful servant”! I love you guys and grieve along with you, even hundreds of miles apart! I am grateful for the impact that all of you have had on my life!

To the Woodget Family,
Time will not allow me to share all of the special memories that I have of your Father. Such a wonderful person! It was such a privilege to know both him and your Mom. It was also an honor to be the ring bearer at their wedding 58 years ago! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.
