

He was born on March 31, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Sigmund and Mary Kaspzyk. Jerry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend who lived a full and meaningful life.
Jerry graduated from Visitation High School before going on to earn his degree from General Motors Institute (GMI) in 1965. He spent 38 years working for General Motors, a career that was as dedicated as the man himself. He married the love of his life, Kathryn Kaspzyk, and together they shared 57 years of marriage before her passing.
Jerry was a loving father to his children, Carol (Glenn) Cross, Kevin Kaspzyk, and Jason Kaspzyk. He was a cherished grandfather to Madison, Katie, Abbey, Hayden, and Holden. He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Pat Gilmour.
He is preceded in death by his wife Kathryn Kaspzyk and his parents, Sigmund and Mary Kaspzyk.
A man of deep faith, Jerry was a devout Catholic who carried his beliefs into every part of his life. He had a love for sports, particularly Michigan football and the Detroit Tigers. Jerry also enjoyed playing card games, especially bridge and euchre.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 3, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI 48307.
Funeral Mass will be on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., with instate beginning at 10:30 a.m. at St. Andrews Catholic Church, 1400 Inglewood Ave., Rochester, MI 48307.
