It is with deep sadness, and immense gratitude for a life so beautifully and fully lived, that we share the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Jerri was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 10, 2026, four days before her 86th birthday, and left this world exactly as she lived in it, wrapped in the love of her family.
She found her greatest joy, not in grand gestures, but in the moments that matter most: family gatherings, the celebration of life's milestones, and the lively, laughter-filled times shared with those she held closest to her heart. She was never one to turn down a hand of cards, a round of dominoes, a bingo game, or a poker night with her grandsons, and she played every game with the same spirited competitiveness that made her such a force of nature. Where there was fun to be had, Jerri was at the center of it, and when the game was over, it was her generous spirit and her gracious, forgiving heart that everyone remembered most.
She leaves behind a legacy far greater than words can capture: four children, fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and one more on the way. She knew, without question, that her family was her greatest achievement. As the cherished matriarch of every holiday and family occasion, Jerri had a gift for bringing everyone together, and her cooking and baking were the heartbeat of it all, a delicious and enduring expression of the love she poured into everything she did.
She was and will forever remain, irreplaceable.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband of 53 years, Richard. She is survived by her loving children: Anthony (Maka), Kimberly (Cameron), Christine (Richard), and Paul (Shelly). Grandma is forever etched in the hearts of her cherished grandchildren: Nicole (Brandon), Martha (Topher), Anthony (Lauren), Michael (Danielle), Joshua (Emily), Samuel (Maggie), Matthew (Melanie), Ryan (Samantha), Anna (Tyler), Chandler (Amanda), Jacob (Julia), Joseph, Zuka, Jack, and Luke. Lastly, “Gigi’s” legacy lives on through her treasured great-grandchildren: Noah, Caleb, Isaac, Graham, Greta, Simon, Grace, Liam, Owen, William, Charlotte, Wyatt, Emmett, Cecilia, Claire, Griffin, Callum, and Theodore.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date, details of which will be shared with family and friends in due course.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in her memory to the Salvation Army https://www.salvationarmyusa.org/ , an organization whose mission of generosity and service reflects the values she embodied every day.
May she rest in eternal peace.
