Glen “Nasty” Michael Nast, age 69, formerly of Detroit, Michigan now of Washington Township, Michigan passed away on March 4th, 2022. He was born November 1st, 1952 to George and Anne Nast. He graduated from Cousino High School and went on to attend Lawrence Tech for several years. Glen entered the “wire and cable” industry after college and worked within the field for 34 years. He became the proud president and partner of Northern Wire and Cable and worked with them for 22-years before it was sold. After retiring from the wire business, he began a second career at Kroger’s for over 12 years.
He was an avid hunter loved the outdoors, enjoyed, watching and feeding his birds played golf.
He was a funny, very loving, man who adored his family and never faltered.
He met and married Constance (nee Field) Nast his wife of 48 years who survives him along with his children Jennifer Nast, Glen (Jennifer) Nast II, and Michael (Amy Wayne) Nast; and grandchildren Jackson Nast and Ethyn Page.
Glen was preceded in death by his father George Nast, mother Anne Nast, and sister Darla Nast.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, March 18th, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home in Rochester, MI. The funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Lake Orion, MI at 11 a.m. with instate beginning at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made directly to the family.
