Gretchen Korff was born on April 19, 1964, to Manfred and Margarete Korff. She passed away on Wednesday February 1, 2023, at home in the arms of her loving husband, Brian Ekis, after battling a long illness.
Gretchen was a smart, loving person with a determined passion for life and a quick sense of humor. She loved to travel, garden, and spend time with family and friends.
Gretchen received a Bachelor of Business Administration from Rochester University. She had an impressive career as an Executive Pharmaceutical Sales Consultant where her extensive knowledge helped doctors connect patients with meaningful pharmaceutical solutions. Gretchen’s colleagues were inspired by her intelligence, sophistication, and deep passion for her work.
Gretchen will be dearly missed by her husband Brian Ekis, her mother Margarete Malocha, her nephews Stephen and Jeff Korff, and her siblings by marriage Cindy (Bob) Broeker, Tammy Thompson, Sandra Potter, Tracey Vincent, Pamela (Tim) Steman. She was predeceased by her brother John Korff and her father Manfred Korff. She was loved by her many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Gretchen will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
