RUSS, Irene E., age 82, a sixty year resident of Rochester Hills, died November 7, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Employed as a pre-school teacher, she also was a faithful member of St. John Lutheran Church. Beloved wife of Allen E. Russ, whom she married on May 16, 1953, and who preceded her in death on January 15, 2009. Loving mother of Craig (Dawn Stamper) Russ of Holly and Shari Russ of Rochester Hills. Grandmother of Jamie and Sean . Great-grandmother of Ivy. Sister of Virginia Beraud. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, 1011 W. University Drive in Rochester with burial in VanHoosen Jones-Stoney Creek Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester.
