Isabel June Cargill

CARGILL, Isabel June, age 100, of Rochester, Michigan, passed away May 31, 2018. She was born in Troy Township on June 13, 1917. Isabel June Cargill graduated from Rochester High School. She was married to Earl E. Cargill on May 11, 1946. June worked in the clerical field for Rochester Woolen Mills, Detroit Edison, and Wilson-Crissman Cadillac. She was a member of the American Legion of Rochester and she had a passion for gardening. June is preceded in death by her husband, Earl E. Cargill; her son, Michael Cargill; her great grandson Evan Graska; and her siblings, Marion King, Mildred Scott, Verna Kingsley, Clayton Joseph Stumpf. She is survived by her children, Ann (David) Reinerth, John (Maureen) Cargill; her grandchildren, Dane Cargill, Griffin Cargill, Rick Reinerth, and Emily Graska; and her great grandchildren, Cooper Reinerth, Gia Goodroe, Lily Gossett and Gemma Goodroe. Visitation will be held Monday, June 4, 2018 from 3-8 PM at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at 10 AM, with gathering beginning at 9:30 AM, at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Leader Dogs for the Blind.
