James M. Shook

SHOOK, James M., age 71, of Clarkston, September 14, 2012. A veteran of the U.S. Army – Airborn 82nd Division, he was the President of Steelmaster Transfer, Inc., a member of Great Oaks Country Club and a Partner at Cherry Creek Golf Course and was an avid hunter. Beloved husband of the late Nancy Hroch Shook (d. 2002) and the late Linda Schaff Shook (d. 1971). Loving father of David (Lavon) Shook of Clarkston and the late Eric Shook (d. 1992). Grandfather of Christopher and Jacob Shook. Son of the late Jacob R. “Reggie” Shook and Elizabeth Coons Shook. Brother of Wilson (Georgina) Shook and the late Frances Hults. Also surviving are his nieces, nephews and many friends. Dearest friend of Diane Wheeler. Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday at PIXLEY FUNERAL HOME, 322 W. University Drive in downtown Rochester followed by burial in VanHoosen Jones –Stoney Creek Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
