Janet Matilo Goudie, age 78, of Rochester, died June 26, 2021. Born in East Cleveland, Ohio, in 1942, Jan graduated from Albion College in 1964. She married Bill Goudie in 1964 and worked as a teacher, interior designer, and fashion consultant. A member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and P.E.O., she was active in the Albion College Alumni Association in addition to serving as a Trustee of the College. She had a passion for family, travel, and her many strong friendships.
Jan is survived by sisters Mary Lou Baker (the late Richard) and Susan Stratton (Steven), daughter-in-law Ann McCulloch (the late Doug Goudie), son Ted (Rachel) Goudie, and grandchildren Will, Aly, Maggie, and Leah Goudie.
Memorial Gathering 3 - 8 p.m. Friday, July 9, 2021 at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., in downtown Rochester. Memorial Service 11 a.m. Saturday, July 10, 2021 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 620 Romeo Rd., Rochester with Memorial Gathering from 10 a.m. until start of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the P.E.O. Fund, Inc. or Albion College, envelopes will be available at the funeral home and church.
