lwas be remembered for the most awsome union buns i have ever had in my life!!! She is most lilely with Dad and others taking orders for that well known bun!!! They are truly a slice of heaven in all by it's self!!! Now she is there making it even more special to be in heaven!! My Mom wanted to let you know she is thinking of you too. I was so saddened to hear the news of Jann.  She was truly a wonderful person and made a lasting impression on me.  I feel so lucky to have had her as my Knitting Teacher and friend.

We are sometimes blessed by gracious and kind people in our lives. Jann was one of those special ladies in my life.

I was truly saddened to hear of the loss of Jann.  She was a beautiful person.  I met her at the Rochester Community House as a student in her knitting class.  She was an excellent teacher and has given me a lifelong gift--the love of knitting.  She will surely be missed, but never forgotten by me. My next knit project will be a donation piece in Jann's tradition of alternately knitting something to give and something to keep.  God Bless Her.

I am so sorry that we were unable to make it to the service today.  We are planning to make it to St. Joe.  I have many fond memories of Aunt Jann and loved looking at the photo gallery. What great pictures!  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.  We will see you soon.

There is a very empty place in the knitting community today. Jan gave so much to so many of us. She was loved by us all and will be greatly missed.

I have many memories of Jan, her sister Joyce, and her parents. Her parents and my parents were close friends before we were born.  We spent many fun times together in our early years and graduated from high school in 1950.  She will be so missed by Nils, Jennifer and her extended family. Praying that God will comfort them with His love.

For the past 20 years, we at Rochester Community House were so proud to call Jann Hedberg "our" Knitting teacher. We didn't like to advertise her classes because people fought to be in them. Her regulars would want to pay for the next session before we had even scheduled the dates in our books. Her talent as a knitter and, even more so, a teacher was extraordinary. And yet, her regulars came back, year after year, just for her and their self-named "knitting therapy sessions." Their laughter would resonate throughout our building--often disturbing other classes. Jann would apologize while trying so hard to stifle her own giggles! 
To Nils, Jennifer, Chris, and Joyce, we knew so much about you and your lives and Jann knew all about our families. We will all share some tears and smiles as we remember her time with us. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Jann was such a great person and teacher.  As someone said, we are her legacy and have a lot to live up to.  With every knit, pearl and cable she will live on.

Jann was such a wonderful person.  Her warm smile, her helping hand, and all the things she taught me will last a life time.  The years of knitting with her will forever be held in my heart. She'll be missed very much.
