Eastman, Jeness W. “Gus”, D.V.M., age 91, Sept. 25 of Rochester, MI. Husband of the late Grace and the late Priscilla. Dear father of Jay W. Eastman, M.D. (Linda), Susan Cole, James Eastman (Robin), and Sarah Reynolds (Will). Dear brother of Roberta Hubacker. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Gus began his Veterinary practice in Rochester in 1945 and he became associated with Leader Dogs for the Blind the same year. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2-8 p.m. at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University D., Rochester. Funeral Thursday 11:00 am at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, 620 Romeo St., Rochester with visitation beginning at 10. Interment Mt. Avon Cemetery.
