July 15, 1977 – July 2, 2018
Jennifer Craft, of Grand Blanc, passed away in her home on July 2nd, 2018.
She will be meeting her Father, James Gillow, Brother, Jason Gillow and Daughter, Areyanna Craft in the afterlife, a long awaited reunion.
Left behind to carry on her memory are her Mother, Faith Gillow, her 3 children, Joshua Craft, Nickolaus Craft and Halie Gillow as well as her Brothers, Billy Gillow and John Gillow.
Knowing Jennifer was a joy that many experienced as her heart was one made of life’s largest containers. She was a wonderful light in any room, especially if you were trying to have a good time! Jennifer loved to be the life of the party but even more, she loved her friends and family dearly. Jennifer took in many throughout her life from friends that needed a place to stay to her family and extended family that needed someone to make sure that their children had a home. Jennifer was a person that saw the good in everyone and wanted to bring a little more sunshine to the world. In remembering Jennifer, remember that you only get one chance so live fully and love freely as she did.
There will be a viewing for friends and family at the Pixley funeral home Saturday, July 7th, 2018 from 4 – 8PM: 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, MI 48307.

We knew Jennifer more as a young girl and now seeing her as a adult woman she looks so much like her Mother Faith. Being friends for years we also knew her as a young girl. Our deepest condolences for the lose of a daughter,a woman a mother could join and communicate with being two women.RIP Jennifer Craft.

So many memories… I never really understood what it meant when I was in high school about the saying “life just… happens”; I do now. Jen was more than any regular friend could be; she was my life-line when I needed her. As you may see over and over again, Jen was known for helping just about anyone she thought she could help. I was one of those people she took under her wing. She befriended me when I felt lost as a teen with nowhere to go. She became like a sister. I've known her for so long that it still seems like her passing is just a bad dream. I thought she would be around until we were both using canes and walkers because we were both too damn stubborn to let life own us…. She was tough and stood up for what she believed in no matter what anyone thought of her. She always wanted the best for her family, and she did whatever she could to make that happen. From teenagers, our families grew from just an “us” as an individual, to a “we”, and it became our top priority to give our family everything we had AND didn’t have growing up. We moved to new homes, we got jobs that dominated our days in exchange for a good life for our loved ones, we visited during many major events in our lives, we were busy living... then I get a text saying my friend of 20+ years is gone… and my heart dropped. That in one day, life just…happened and now she is with God. She was an amazing woman and friend, she will be missed and remembered. I love you Jen
