

Jerry Dwayne Tryon, age 79 of Rochester Hills, passed away February 14, 2017. Born October 22, 1937 in Detroit. Jerry graduated from Denby High School and married Janice Marie Czanstke on September 10, 1960. Jerry worked as a design engineer at General Motors for many years. He was selected to work on the latest presidential limousine of his time. Jerry was a talented woodworker and in retirement he was known for the many furniture pieces he crafted for others. Jerry is survived by his loving wife Janice; children Timothy (Kathryn) Tryon and Michelle (Daniel) Rhen; grandchildren Shannon, Jacob, and Jackson; sister Patricia (Fred, deceased) Eldridge; as well as very close friends. Jerry was predeceased by his parents John and Iris (Trinkle) Tryon; brother Phil Tryon and sister Marilyn (Pete, deceased) Piegan. The family will hold a memorial gathering at a future date.
