John David Foltz II

John David Foltz II, age 77, of Shelby Township, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2025. He was born on August 4, 1947, in Mount Clemens, to John David and Marilyn Foltz. John was a proud graduate of Romeo High School and went on to attend Oakland University. He built a successful career in the plastics and automotive industry at A. Raymond, where he was admired for his dedication and strong work ethic. On August 21, 1982, John married the love of his life, Wendy Beatty. Together, they shared a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful moments. A devoted member of the Lions Club, John actively supported its mission of community service. In his spare time, he was an avid reader with a deep love for science fiction, which fueled his imagination and lifelong curiosity.

Beloved husband of Wendy Foltz. Dear brother of James D. (Sally Anne Morris) Foltz, Terry (the late Alan) Kawiecki, and Jeff (Pat) Foltz, and brother-in-law of Cheryl Secord. Proud son-in-law of Winifred Sanday. He was preceded in passing by his parents, John David and Marilyn Foltz. John will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm and on Friday, August 1, 2025, from 10:00am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00am at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Drive, Rochester.
