I am still in shock at Bob's passing.  I had the privilege of serving him Communion in November and he told me all about his walking routine and how he continued to be active.  He put me to shame and I told him I was trying to do better to match him!    Following Communion, we always had such nice conversations.  Bob was very proud of his family and always talked about them so lovingly.   I will miss visiting with him very much.

Bob's passing is a great sorrow to me. As members of St. Thomas Church he and Eleanor had a care partner and
I had the honor of being that person. After Bob's loss of Eleanor I invited him to join Jim Kennedy and me at our regular
Wednesday breakfast that he accepted and continued to the last Wednesday before his fall. These were special days-
after breakfast we covered errands where we checked on the progress in preparing his house for sale, covered bank                          
 accounts, drug store needs and  other minor shopping expeditions. I got to looking forward to our morning excursions.
Bob was an inspiration in the way he handled life's adversities so calmly and was a true gentleman who was so
appreciative of any help he received. My Wednesdays won't be as special as they have been with Bob.
God bless a great husband, fine gentleman and special  friend. Alice and I join all the people who will miss you Bob.

We are so sad to hear of Bob's passing. Bob was a member of St. Thomas, along with his beloved wife Eleanor.  We so enjoyed knowing Bob, and he will be sorely missed by many in our congregation.  Know that we are keeping Bruce, Melinda, Barbara, and their families in our prayers at this time.
