John Roland McCoppen

Born February 25, 1963, in Ontario, Canada. John was a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University. Moving to Michigan in the early 90s, John also received an MBA from University of Michigan - Flint. He worked nearly 40 years in various financial analysis, consulting, and controller roles in the automotive and assembly industries.

John was a fan of all sports, playing recreational hockey through his younger adult years and coaching AYSO soccer. Some of John's favorite sports teams included the Toronto Maple Leafs, Liverpool FC, Detroit Lions and Detroit City FC.

John is survived by his two daughters, Nicole Pittman (Ross Maynard) and Kathryn (Michael) Farr. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. He is also survived by many friends and family members. He was a fun-loving goofball who will be dearly missed.

Cremation will be taking place. A celebration of life will be held on June 20th, from 12-5pm, at the Rochester FOE.
