Pastor Soroka was the Pastor at Good News Assembly of God when I got saved.  I will always appreciate his time and help with learning how to be the Christian I knew I wanted to be.  He was a friend and a pastor and I know he has done the Lord's work for a very long time and I know that he is in the arms of Jesus now.  Thank you for being the servant Christ wanted you to be.

I will never forget Pastor Soroka. He was the pastor I grew up with in the Marlette Assembly of God. I remember one time I was to sing a solo for church, Pastor saw that I was crying because I was scared and went on with service and his sermon. At the end of the service he saw that I had calmed down enough that I could sing, so he called me up, I sang and I was fine. He always knew when the timing was right for whatever was going on in church or in life. God bless the family and Pastor Soroka for being so instrumental in my life.

Pastor Soroka was the pastor who I got saved under.  I will always remember his mentoring through the first years of my walk with Jesus.  I appreciate so much the time and love he has always shown to me and my family.  Thank you John Soroka for your faithfulness to the Lord and all the work you have done for Him.

May you know God's presence and the depth of His faithful love for you during this time of loss.  Psalm 31:24 "He shall strengthen your heart, All you who hope in the Lord."

Rev. Soroka was the Rev.at Good News  in Marlette Mi. when I started going there. I will never forget him.  Perhaps they are not stars in the sky, but rather openings in Heaven where our loved ones shine down upon us to let us know they are happy!
