Judith Diane Walbecq

Judith Walbecq, 80, returned to her Lord on March 17, 2026. Born in Huntsville, Alabama October 19, 1945, grew up in Detroit, MI. At 17 she fell in love with her husband Don, of 43 years, and raised 4 children in St. Clair shores and later Ortonville, MI.

Diane began her business ownership with Console Carpet Cleaning which developed into Apex Janitorial and Floor Care and was very successful for 15 years. Then, seeing a new niche, Diane, with the immense help of her son Jason, became an E-Bay top seller. Over 24 years, Diane became an E-Bay top seller with over 5,000 100% positive reviews and nearly 10,000 sales an achievement that defined her entrepreneurial spirit. Don and Diane shared a passion for country "couples" dance instructors and Diane was also an Archery Champion. Her greatest accomplishment was earning the love and admiration of 4 children, 13 grandchildren and 13.5 great grandchildren.

She is survived by her children Lance Walbecq, Rodney Walbecq (Evelyn), Jason Walbecq, and Heather Walbecq (Ryan Thorpe); grandchildren Joshua Walbecq (Scott Jordan), Jason Walbecq, Andrew Walbecq (Alyssa), Alexandra Walbecq, Megan Walbecq, Ashleigh Walbecq (Eddie English), Jordan Walbecq, Jessica Saraceno (Anthony), Ethan Kay (Emily), Tyler Walbecq (Carmen), Adam Walbecq, Dakota Thorpe and Joey Thorpe; 13.5 great grandchildren; brother Michael Schrimsher; sister Melissa (Arrion) Schrimsher-Tucker; brother David (Kathy) Schrimsher; S-I-L Sue Schrimsher; and her best friend Lou!

She is greeted in heaven by her husband Donald R. Walbecq; mother Tiny Marie Schrimsher (Cagle); father T. C. Schrimsher; along with brothers Danny and Ray Schrimsher; and baby sister Ediee Schrimsher.

Visitation will be held at Pixley Funeral Home, 322 W. University Dr., Rochester, Michigan 48307, on March 22, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 5:30 pm followed by a service beginning at 5:30 pm. There will be a private viewing the following day and then guest and family are invited to a Cemetery Chapel Service at All Saints Cemetery, 4401 Nelsey Rd, Waterford Township, MI 48329, on March 23, 2026, at 12:15 pm.
